Taking time off in between workouts does not mean you are demotivated or lazy – it simply makes you smart. I was reading an article a while back released by scientists at Ball State University who found that the muscle damage caused by pumping iron can sap your full strength for up to two whole [...]
7 Steps To Success
by HK on 28. Apr, 2010 in Health, Inspiration, Motivation
How often do we think of ideas – things we want to do and achieve? Have you ever taken the time to ponder what it would take to be successful at exactly that? Often times we start something, yet our inner self causes us to get demotivated and lose hope with each step we try [...]
Where Should I Eat?
by HK on 09. Feb, 2010 in Health, Lifestyle
So, if your like me then you enjoy eating out every once in a while (which I find completely fine, considering you do not over do it), yet often times you are confronted with what you want to eat and where. Now some points on the following diagram would never even relate to me, but [...]
Supercharge your brain
by HK on 03. Jul, 2009 in Health, How To:
I work a lot of late nights. I typically don’t end up going to bed ’till 3ish a.m. (on the average), only to hear the alarm clock on my phone or clock buzz me awake shortly before 7 (even when I don’t really have a schedule). This last sentence should in no way seem to [...]

FIFA, Add video?

04/07/2010 11:15 pmAt this point its tough, Spain and Germany are both in my top 3 teams. Spain has been an okay goer – and Germany has been crushing everyone, literally. Germany is going hard and i think it might end up being Holland and Germany. Go Germany (or Spain).

FIFA, Add video?

04/07/2010 10:45 pmThe 4th ref was added after that game. The idea of being able to challenge a certain action once or twice per game is very interesting. Soccer still has a long way to go, let’s see what will happen. btw, who you think will win?

FIFA, Add video?

04/07/2010 10:21 pmAre you kidding me? SInce when is there a ref behind the goal? the 4th Ref is on the sideline and assists in timing and switching in players. I agree that soccer should stay the way it is, as traditional as possible yet maybe there should be a similiar step as in American Football where a coach could challenge a call once per game!? Spain vs. Germany is up next.

FIFA, Add video?

04/07/2010 1:01 amWell, I am not quite sure how it will work with technology playing a role in soccer. Even though technology might help prevent certain situations like that, it won’t really have a chance to come into use because soccer doesn’t have a lot of breaks, and if they were too constantly take breaks and take a quick look for a certain action, then the game would lose its flow. Because of this incident, they already added another referee behind the goal, which might have a little impact, but mistakes are mistakes, and yes they can change the entire flow of an entire world cup, but this is soccer and this is how it works. The only way it could work with this technology is if they had another ref at the top in the tower to watch the replays to communicate through a microphone with the main ref about certain situations, but let’s see how it rolls. Good post
