Today, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced that the social network has surpassed 250 million active users. Three months ago Facebook had announced that it had reached 200 million users across the globe and back in January it was just a mere 150 million.
Facebook has been accused of under-counting users in the past and according to comScore, Facebook had 316 million unique visitors worldwide in May ’09, but not all of them necessarily had accounts. All in all it does not really matter how you put it because adding more than 50 million users in three months is nothing short of amazing. A lot of sites would love to generate a fraction of that growth. Now my question is how long will it take facebook to reach one billion users and for that matter as a twitter fan, who will reach that milestone first?
Here is an interesting video to watch concerning facebook:
Take a look at where facebook has most of it’s users.

WOW! 250 Million thats like almost all of america.
Unique visitors is amazing on the otherhand i figure that i use at least 2 computers plus my iphone to login so that already counts me as 3 unique users, or am i wrong here?
No surprise!
Yeah it sure is amazing. Undoubtedly due to the addition of languages and the language feature itself.
